Low Dimensional Topology

Conferences

If you have a conference you’d like to advertise in low dimensional topology, simply leave a comment below with the basic info (date, location, topic) and perhaps a link to the conference website. Comments for events that have already happened will be deleted periodically; there used to be a more professional-looking list of events ordered by date, but it wasn’t updated often enough so we’re going to try something cruder but automatic. More conference listings are available on the Topology Atlas, Jon McCammond’s home page, the AMS conference calendar, and the UTK geometry listserv.

If you submit a comment and it doesn’t appear due to need for “moderation”, contact Nathan Dunfield.

  2. Computational Problems in Low-dimensional Topology III

    Rutgers University, Newark, NJ
    April 8-9, 2023

The focus of this workshop is the interaction between 3-manifold topology/geometry and theoretical computer science. Of particular interest is the computational complexity of algorithmic problems in 3-manifold topology. Related topics in low-dimensional topology and theoretical computer science will also be discussed. The program will include introductory lectures as well as flash talks and ample time for discussions and informal interactions.
